About Me
Hi, my name is Shana Thompson. I have been training dogs professionally for over five years, and in that time I have helped thousands of people better understand their dog's behaviour and communicate more effectively with them, as we learn doggy manners and the importance of working together as a team.

I grew up on a farm in the wheatbelt region of WA, and animals have always been a big part of my life. I studied Zoology and Science Communication at UWA, and spent some time volunteering and training animals for husbandry and education purposes, before finding my way into the world of dog training.

I am an IMDT qualified trainer and hold the OCN Accredited Certification 'Principles of Dog Training and Behaviour', Level III. When Steve Mann (founder of the IMDT) recently visited Australia, I attended one of his workshops where I further qualified as an “Easy Peasy Puppy Instructor”. I engage in continued professional development, attending various courses, seminars and workshops, and am always looking to learn more to further my knowledge and skills.

I really enjoy helping people and their dogs improve their bond and relationship, and I look forward to meeting you and your dog soon!!
